Walter Thomas Pattison papers, 1918-1986.

Pattison was an expert on the Spanish novelist, Benito Pérez Galdós and much of his work on Galdós is evident in this collection. Five folders in the collection contain research on Mary Adriana Tate, whom Galdós knew, and with whom he had a family connection. Other research that stands out in the collection includes folders on Iberian-Basque Syntax, and on Emilia Pardo Bazán, a novelist and contemporary of Benito Pérez Galdós.
